A garment is a form of Art.  It’s expressive, creative, uses multiple mediums and each peice is unique.  This is what we love about Fashion. It’s fun, innovative, diverse and there is limited restrictions in what we can create. A garment is Art.

From concept to finished product there are many facets involved to create a well made finished garment .  From fabric design, pattern and fit construction, branding, decoration and application, this is all designed with a carefully curated thought.  Combined with the required resources used from the planet and the skilled hands of multiple Craftsman throughout the world, we end up with a completed garment.

With the amount of time, effort and energy that is involved with this process we need to slow down and appreciate and respect prior to purchase.  A garment deserves to be viewed, touched, analysed, appreciated and respected as a peice of carfully curated craftsmanship.

Ask yourself these questions, is this what I love?  Where was this made?  What is it made from? Will this make me feel and look great?  Will it last?  When we slow down to stop, analyse and question prior purchase, this will break down this instant illusion of lust, want and desire that has been either marketed to us via branding or price point.

Let’s get smarter, let’s create art together that will benefit society and our planet.  It’s time to make alterations on the way we view our garments.
